Born in Massachusetts and raised in New Hampshire, I fell in love with food at some point during my teenage years. I spent many childhood days in the kitchen alongside my mother, and discovered a true passion for baking. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, with a degree in Psychology, I spent 7 years in Boston sampling all the amazing food the city has to offer. Working in the Executive Recruiting business helped to support my eating habits but did not do a whole lot to motivate my career! I decided to head north to Lake Placid, NY so that I could pursue a career as a pastry chef at Paul Smith's College. After graduating with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, I spent the next 8 years as the Pastry Chef for Putnam Market in Saratoga Springs, NY where I gained invaluable experience and spent many fun days in the kitchen. I have combined this remarkable experience with my education to establish Cake. I love what I do and even more, I would love to share it with you!
